Prior to this, he was a supervisory board member at Metall Zug AG, a part-time technology advisory council, chairman of the board at ABB Automation GmbH, and president of ABB Industry AG. Peter got his education from Strasbourg National School of Physics and a Ph.d. in Electrical Engineering from Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich.
