Robert D. Smith has over 27 years of work experience and is currently the Vice President Supply Chain at Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC US. Prior to this, he was the Global Director: Indirect Procurement / Factory & DC Operations at Trane Technologies. Robert has worked for over 25 years in Ingersoll Rand in various roles such as Global Logistics Director, Global Distribution Director, Supply Chain & Distribution Center Leader, Business Operating System Director, Plant Manager - Air Compressor Group, Operations Business Manager, and as a Global Program Manager. Robert has completed his Master of Business Administration – MBA from Gardner-Webb University and Bachelor of Science from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
