SK Sales Explains The Functioning Of Plasma Air Bi-Polar Ionization System

Plasma ionization unit can be fitted into the return air side of a ducted unit to provide a continuous stream of ionized particles using Plasma Air’s Bi-Polar Ionization system, neutralizing pathogens, such as bacteria and viruses, as well as molds and odors. Applicable concealed ceiling units The PA604 can be fitted to the supply return air side of a ducted fan coil. The power supply can be run from the fan coil supply – please see install instructions for correct fitment and placement in the air stream. The Plasma Air Bi-Polar Ionization system The Plasma Air 600 Series is self-contained in a potted ABS box with a molded flange and mounting holes The Plasma Air 600 Series Models 604 is needlepoint brush-type ionizers producing an equal amount of positive and negative ions neutralizing harmful pollutants and odors. This unit is highly versatile, as it may be installed at the fan inlet of an air handling unit, fan coil unit and VRV/VRF duct system. The Plasma Air 600 Series is self-contained in a potted ABS box with a molded flange and mounting holes. The unit is protected with an inline 500 mA glass cartridge fuse. Each ionization unit is capable of ionizing supply airflow of 4000 m3/hr. How bipolar ionization improves indoor air quality (IAQ) Plasma Air technology produces a natural bio-climate rich in positive and negative oxygen ions. The negative ions contain an extra electron, while the positive ions are missing an electron, resulting in an unstable condition. In an effort to re-stabilize, these bipolar ions seek out atoms and molecules in the air to trade electrons with, effectively neutralizing particulate matter, bacteria, and virus cells, odor gases, aerosols and VOCs.   SK Sales does not warranty against the effectiveness of Plasma Air Bi-Polar Ionization system in reducing pathogens. Ducted units will only function with Plasma Air Bi-Polar Ionization system and SK Sales warranty the equipment for a period of 3 years from the date of purchase, based on failed or mal-functioning product purchased.
