The National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA) recently announced the recipients of its 2022 Safety Awards. As the world’s most respected authority on the inspection and cleaning of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, NADCA presents its Safety Awards to contractors who have shown a verifiable commitment to employee, customer, and community safety throughout the year. The awards were announced on March 28 at the association’s 34th Annual Meeting & Exposition in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA. The awards are presented annually. Recipients of the Outstanding Safety Award are companies who have been recognized with the NADCA Safety Award for at least three consecutive years.

National Air Duct Cleaners Association - NADCA, the HVAC inspection, cleaning, and restoration association, welcomes Charles Cochrane back to its Board of Directors. Charles Cochrane was officially inducted at NADCA’s 33rd Annual Meeting & Exposition, which took place in Aurora, Colorado, USA, from March 20 to March 22, 2022. Charles Cochrane is currently the President of Cochrane Ventilation, Inc., a renowned commercial ventilation cleaning and indoor air quality firm that was founded in 1950 in Wilmington, Massachusetts, USA. He previously served on the Board of Directors and was elected President in 1996. Served on NADCA’s Standards and Certification Committees In addition, Charles Cochrane has chaired and served on NADCA’s Standards, Certification, Education, and International Committees. He is actively involved with reviewing and evaluating methods of air duct cleaning with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Housing and Urban Development (HUD). He holds his Air Systems Cleaning Specialist (ASCS) and Certified Ventilation Inspector (CVI) certifications and is a long-standing member of NADCA. Other professional affiliations include the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA), and Association for Facilities Engineering (AFE).
