HVACR installations Eurovent India is a collaborative effort of Eurovent members and Eurovent-certified manufacturers interested in contributing towards sustainability, energy efficiency, better IAQ, and the development of higher standards in the country. By raising awareness of common problems and highlighting technical solutions, its participants provide important knowledge and expertise to reduce energy consumption and the adverse effects of substandard HVACR installations.
Camfil announces the launch of the latest innovation in molecular filtration products with the CamCarb XG. Companies targeting gas-phase contaminants in various applications such as odor, pollution, or corrosion control will gain superior-in-class results with performance and protection. Molecular contamination control (MCC) products capture molecules, gases, and vapors from the air. Those contaminants cannot be trapped by traditional particle filters. Molecular filters are also known as gas-phase filters, chemical air filters, or activated carbon filters in different countries and applications. Camfil’s multiple laboratories Camfil investment in R&D led to the optimization of the shape of traditional cylinders The Camfil investment in research and development has led to the optimization of the shape of the traditional cylinders ultimately resulting in minimized pressure drop and maximized media utilization. Research and development on this have been at Camfil’s multiple laboratories and ISO 10121 test facilities around the world and have been focused on fluid dynamics and media adsorption. “The CamCarb XG boasts a unique combination of high removal efficiency, low resistance to airflow and long lifetime, resulting in a very low “Total Cost of Ownership” (TCO) for our clients,” says Dr. Guillaume Gallet, President of Camfil molecular contamination control business division. Game changer in air filtration Guillaume Gallet added, “In addition, thanks to its ergonomic design, the time necessary for filter installation and replacement results in up to a 50% reduction versus conventional products, making it a very attractive solution for services and facility management companies." The product will be first available in Asia Pacific, followed by EMEA, and North America "Its brand-new conical design reduces energy consumption up to 35% and assists end-users to cut down on their CO2 footprint and energy bills. This product is a game changer and far ahead of anything currently available in the air filtration market. The product will be first available in Asia Pacific, followed by Europe, Middle East, Africa (EMEA), and North America in the last quarter of 2023.” Camfil’s approach The adsorptive media used in CamCarb XG can be anything from activated carbon or activated alumina materials and has been developed and tested in Camfil laboratories. “Our molecular contamination control business division commits to sustainability. This is evident in every step of the life cycle of the product." "Camfil’s approach to problem-solving, innovative design, precise process control, and customer focus all contribute to product development that aims to conserve more, use less, and find better ways to protect people, processes, and the environment,” Elaine Seet, Regional Product manager, Camfil Industrial Molecular filtration.
Informa Markets’ ASEAN M&E 2022 show is set to welcome10,000 visitors from 60 countries from 7–9 Nov 2022 at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC). Being the first fully physical exhibition since the COVID-19 pandemic, ASEAN M&E – Southeast Asia’s premier Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, and Energy trade show will host 150 exhibitors from more than 11 countries, with 4 grand international pavilions (Singapore, India, China, and Turkey). Visitor engagement Beyond these pavilions, visitors can expect to directly engage with exhibitors from other major countries such as Germany, Ireland, Sweden, Japan, Pakistan, Hong Kong, Indonesia, and others. ASEAN M&E will also feature TENAGA Energy and REVAC, all under one roof at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC). Energy transition and decarbonization Malaysia’s SEDA and Energy Commission will be taking part in ASEAN M&E for Malaysia’s energy transition TENAGA Energy is a dedicated show for the power, electrical, and utility industries, while REVAC will cater to the heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVACR) industry. To date, among the big brand names that have confirmed their participation such as Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB), Ray Go Solar, Assign Group, Daikin Malaysia, Mitsubishi Electric, American Air Filter, Japan Air Filter Malaysia, Mayair, and Haier Electric. In addition, Malaysia’s Sustainable Energy Development Authority (SEDA) and Energy Commission will be taking part in ASEAN M&E to lead the way for Malaysia’s energy transition and decarbonization. Next-generation technologies ASEAN M&E will also showcase next-generation technologies, including Electric Vehicles (EV) and related products such as charging stations, as part of the expo’s efforts to further drive the region’s energy transition ambitions. With Southeast Asia committed to reducing its carbon footprint and the regional countries passing laws and policies to address climate change, ASEAN has emerged as an important market for EV technologies.
