The only requirements are connections to the outside heat pump using a two-core cable and a 13A power supply. The Smartech thermostat is then wirelessly connected for temperature and time user settings with the Wi-Fi user app option. Alpha continues to grow its renewables team with the new appointment of Neil Jarman. Neil will be stepping into a newly created role as Renewable Sales Manager. The role was created to help lead the company’s expansion into the renewable heat pump market and reinforces its commitment to a more sustainable future. Neil's experience  Neil will bring to Alpha a wealth of experience, that spans 40 years, and a proven track record of success within the industry. Neil’s expertise covers the sector widely, having previously worked as Sales Director with DeLonghi Group for DL Radiators and as a New Build Director with Plumbase. He brings to the business an in-depth knowledge and proficiency in renewables and is also BPEC qualified in air and ground source heat pumps. New role and responsibilities  Alpha has a vast and innovative product portfolio to be enhanced with its hybrid and heat pump range" Neil’s new role will see him join the renewable sales team, helping Alpha continue its journey as a pioneer of the renewable heating industry. Alongside sales, Neil will be working closely with the technical product training teams, as well as closely monitoring government legislation changes. This system is the perfect answer for applications where space is a constraint, as it fits in a 300 mm (11.8”) deep cabinet and is only 1U high, 19” wide. Moreover, as users can integrate DC/DC converters along with AC/DC converters in a same shelf, they have an isolated DC/DC required for safety reasons.
