On September 16 at 00:00, the world's first 660MW supercritical circulating fluidized bed (CFB) boiler, independently developed by Dongfang Boiler Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of DEC, was put into commercial use after a 168-hour full-load trial operation at Pingshuo Power Plant of Jiangsu Guoxin Investment Group Limited.

Boasting high-quality performance, the boiler operated soundly and economically in the trial, with its key parameters meeting design requirements and pollutants emission down to an ultra-low level.
