Viessmann will be showcasing an extensive portfolio of electrically based air-conditioning solutions at the Ess Europe trade fair held in Munich from May 11 to 15, 2022, as part of “The smarter E Europe”.

The family business has taken a big step toward becoming a full-service provider for electrical system solutions in buildings by rolling out new products and services in line with its mission statement, "We create living spaces for generations to come." The spotlight at Stand 150 in Hall B2 will be shining on the new three-phase Vitocharge VX3 electricity storage system and the innovative Vitocal heat pump generations for existing buildings.

Vitocharge VX3 electricity storage system

The Vitocharge VX3 electricity storage system allows homeowners to store electricity generated by their photovoltaic system and thus use it more efficiently. The new three-phase Vitocharge VX3 6.0 and 8.0 can handle PV input power up to 12 kWp. Some versions can handle 5, 10, or 15 kWh of battery power.

Depending on the connection type and parameterization, Vitocharge VX3 can be used as a hybrid electricity storage system with a new photovoltaic (PV) system, as an electricity storage system with an existing PV inverter, or, in the case of the Vitocharge VX3 top module, as a pure PV inverter.

Heat pumps for modernization projects

The new pumps can be adapted to almost all existing heating systems thanks to their patented hydraulic system

The future belongs to electrically powered heat pumps. Existing buildings can now be retrofitted with high-efficiency solutions: the new Vitocal 250-A and Vitocal 252-A air/water heat pumps. These monobloc devices achieve flow temperatures of up to 70 °C, even when outside temperatures plummet to -10 °C.

Most existing radiators can thus continue to be used; floor heating systems are not necessary. The new pumps can be adapted to almost all existing heating systems thanks to their patented hydraulic system. They are also much easier and quicker to install than conventional heat pumps.

Photovoltaic modules with more power

The heat pumps will ideally be powered by energy supplied by the new Vitovolt 300 photovoltaic modules. With their half-cut and shingled cell technology, they supply even more power up to 410 Wp at better degrees of efficiency of up to 21.2 percent.

A comprehensive quality process maintains the high-quality standards of Vitovolt 300 series photovoltaic modules at all times. That is why the company has extended the product guarantee for all newly sold Vitovolt 300 modules from 12 to 15 years.

Photovoltaic system rentals in a worry-free package

Homeowners receive the newest high-efficiency Viessmann components, produce climate-friendly electricity

Viessmann Electricity is an attractive new solution for homeowners who do not want to invest in their solar power system or are looking for a worry-free package. The equipment is rented based on predictable monthly payments, eliminating the need for upfront investment.

In exchange, homeowners receive the newest high-efficiency Viessmann components, produce climate-friendly electricity from the very first day, and immediately cut their costs. The cost for renting the system includes maintenance and all the repairs that may be necessary.

Adminprofi: Quick and easy registration

With the nationwide Adminprofi online registration service, Viessmann offers its trade partners a reliable and time-saving solution for the installation and commissioning of electricity-based energy systems.

This not only considerably simplifies the tedious bureaucratic process of registering photovoltaic systems, fuel cell heating devices, and electricity storage systems with the respective grid/network operator but also allows trade partners to save valuable time that can be used for their core business.
