Viessmann has operated in China for 20 years and has five sales offices and hundreds of showrooms. The new site is centrally located in one of the most important commercial areas of the country, close to Viessmann’s partners, customers, and many suppliers.
“We see an enormous potential in the Chinese market and have decided to expand our production capacities here,” said Prof. Dr. Martin Viessmann, Chairman of the Viessmann Group, in his welcome address at the inauguration event on November 5th. “Through this newly acquired proximity (to Viessmann’s partners, customers, and suppliers), we will be able to supply the market with solutions even more effectively.”
Innovation in digital applications
“China is one of the most important markets in the world, not only for individual heating systems but also for innovative and comfortable living,” said his son Max Viessmann, co-CEO of the Viessmann Group.
“The country is a true champion of innovation, especially concerning digital applications – and is therefore also a role model for Europe. We want to make the most out of these opportunities.”
