The Viessmann Foundation gGmbH from Allendorf (Eder) donates 100,000 euros to the German Children's Aid Fund (Deutsches Kinderhilfswerk e. V.) for children seeking refuge and young people from Ukraine.

The last round of the Viessmann initiative ViMove for Climate was adapted for this purpose. This time, employees' sporting activities were not rewarded with the donation of trees for reforestation projects, but with a monetary amount per sporting unit for the German Children's Fund.

psychological care For Ukrainian families

Non-profit organizations, associations, and initiatives can apply for support for projects from the German Children's Fund: for play and learning opportunities, psychological care, and everything a child needs to grow up in Germany in a child-friendly way.

Projects are funded nationwide, among them one by Jumpers gGmbH from Kassel with 10,000 euros, which offers psychological care for Ukrainian families. A permanent, daily counseling center is also to be set up with the support of the German Children's Aid Fund.

The German Children's Fund for children seeking Refugee and young people from Ukraine supports projects throughout Germany, for example, in which children and young people are prepared for school in Germany or receive psychological care so that they can come to terms with the experiences of their flight.

In addition, families who have fled to Germany can quickly and easily apply for individual support from the Deutsches Kinderhilfswerk, for example for school equipment, medical aid, or furnishings suitable for children.
