Industry-first Transition Couplings
Viega MegaPress® Transition Couplings are approved for use in industrial applications
Viega is the first manufacturer to offer a solution for piping systems that can be used to transition between galvanized or carbon steel pipe and copper, PEX, or stainless steel in seconds.
Viega MegaPress® Transition Couplings are approved for use in commercial, residential, and industrial applications, available in ½″ to 2″ sizes.
EPDM and FKM sealing element
All Viega MegaPress Transition couplings are made of zero-lead (ZL) bronze, a material that reduces the risk of corrosion when connecting dissimilar metals and features Smart Connect® technology to quickly detect unpressed connections.
The couplings with EPDM sealing elements carry an NSF-61 rating for potable water. The models featuring an FKM sealing element can be used with approved compressed air and technical gasses, as well as hydronic and chilled water.

Viega will be hosting its annual Social Media Meet-up on Tuesday, February 11, at 1:30 PM in the Viega booth (#3843). This year features a Viega Skills Competition in collaboration with RIDGID tools. Those selected to participate will be teamed up and compete in a timed installation challenge. Judging includes speed, accuracy, and technique.
