Uwe Sigloch (Vice President of Global Product Management, ebm-papst) was elected as the new Chairperson of the Eurovent Product Group ‘Fan Technology’ (PG-FANS), during the group’s recent meeting on 21 March 2024 in Warsaw.

Uwe Sigloch has several years of experience in the Eurovent Product Group ‘Fan Technology’, where he previously held the position of Vice-Chairperson since 2014.

He will solemnly take up the role for the next two years as the only Chairperson, as the group currently has a vacant position for a Vice-Chairperson. The group participants have reviewed their support and trustworthiness by electing Uwe for the Chairperson position which had been vacant in the previous term.

Mr. Uwe Sigloch stated, “It is an honor that the group participants have trusted me to take up the position of the group’s Chairperson for the next term. The Product Group ‘Fan Technology’ is the contact point for the European fan industry."

He adds, "With our work, we want to support the interests of manufacturers, particularly in the wide area of sustainability regulations. We also seek to work closely with the users of fans to facilitate the efficient operation of fans in a wide range of applications.”

The Eurovent Product Group ‘Fan Technology’ is home to European manufacturers of fans, industrial fans, fan units, dryers, and related components.

The Group’s key tasks are advocacy of European and national legislation, EN, ISO, and Eurovent standard development, promotion of the industry, and export initiatives.
