Triatek will be exhibiting in partnership with Johnson Controls at the 2019 ASHE International Summit and Exhibition on Health Facility Planning, Design, and Construction (PDC) in Phoenix, Arizona March 17-20. The company will be at Booth 818. ASHE is the organization that in partnership with ASHRAE and ANSI publishes the ANSI/ASHRAE/ASHE 170 Ventilation of Health Care Facilities.

The PDC Summit brings together industry specialists to learn, network, and discover ways to create value for the healthcare built environment. The Johnson Controls booth will showcase how Triatek and the JCI family of brands work together to deliver an unmatched level of product availability and service for healthcare facilities.

The PDC Summit offers a plethora of educational sessions. On Tuesday, March 19 Kishor Khankari, an ASHRAE Fellow, will lead a session titled HVAC Design Alternatives for Hospital Patient Rooms.

The session will:

  • Explain the importance of airflow distribution in a patient room
  • Explore the impact of HVAC design on thermal comfort of patients
  • Discover how HVAC design affects flow path of airborne pathogens
  • Compare the performance of various HVAC design alternatives for patient rooms
