SO Energy has a responsibility as an employer to give all of their SO Energists a place to work that is safe, and that promotes health and well-being of everyone. The company knows that having happy and healthy employees is the only way they can all succeed, and so they work very hard to create an environment that encourages that.

It’s for this reason - and the fact that they’re proudly a London-based company that hires locally - that SO Energy is thrilled to have met the criteria for the Foundation level of the London Healthy Workplace Award (LWHA).

London Healthy Workplace Award (LWHA)

The LHWA is an initiative that partners local public health resources with employers

The LHWA is an initiative that partners local public health resources with employers, complementing the Mayor of London’s Good Work Standard and supporting fair employment practices, and better workplaces.

Some of the things that qualified SO Energy for the award were the mental health coaching that they offer via Sanctus, their in-house Mental Health First Aiders and online well-being hub, their ‘flex from first’ option that allows team members to work from home two days per week and free, healthy breakfast options and snacks throughout the day.

SO Energy delighted to be a part of the LHWA club

There are more than 300 organizations across the city that has also met the criteria, all of which are working hard to improve the health of Londoners by investing in health and well-being in the workplace.

SO Energy is delighted to be a part of the LHWA club and, while their accreditation lasts for four years, the company will be supplying regular updates on what they’re doing and what they plan to do to make the company a workplace that is focused on the ongoing and future health and well-being of their teams.
