Servoclima Supplies Eurovent Certified SC | CTA Horizontal Air Treatment Units For Barcelona Shopping Centre

When the L'lla Diagonal Shopping Center in Barcelona had an exacting range of requirements for its new primary air conditioner, Servoclima stepped up to the challenge with their SC | CTA horizontal air treatment units.

SC | CTA range

Servoclima provides a range of standard and bespoke units and is well-versed in adapting products to project requirements. The SC | CTA range offers robust and durable horizontal air treatment units, which cover a range of flows between 1,800 and 130,000 m3/h.

The SC | CTA is not only certified by Eurovent Certitia Certification but is also fully configurable, being designed and manufactured to meet customer requirements.

Features 

In this project some of the unique features include:

• Installation of a CAREL adiabatic humidifier inside the air conditioner, to reduce the installer's work on site.
• This also included factory-installed nozzles and droplet separators, located inside the AHU chassis.
• Customization of the electrical cabinet with a made-to-measure power panel, integrated inside the air conditioner. Creating an isolated interior cabinet to be able to locate the electrical components.

HVAC system

Not only this, but the air treatment unit which reached a considerable size had to be delivered in one piece, on a Sunday in February 2022. The delivered unit dimensions hit an impressive 2,153mm wide x 3,016mm high x 6,500mm long. On the last Sunday in February 2022, Servoclima delivered the bespoke SC | CTA, which was hoisted into position using a crane.

Servoclima worked with the installer, CivityGroup / Inelt Multitechnical Service, and engineer Oscar Ribé, to ensure the L'lla Diagonal Shopping Centre had exactly the right HVAC system at exactly the right time.
