OVO and heat pump manufacturer Mitsubishi Electric have announced a new partnership that provides even more households access to its market-pioneering Heat Pump Plus add-on.

Heat Pump Plus add-on

The Heat Pump Plus add-on offers OVO customers with a Mitsubishi Electric Ecodan air source heat pump the opportunity to heat their homes for 15p per kWh, compared to the average standard variable rate tariff (SVT) cost of 21.29p per kWh. This means that OVO customers could shave over a third (35%) off their home heating bills compared to the market average.

All Mitsubishi Electric Ecodan heat pump users with an active MELCloud account are eligible for this offering if they switch their energy account to OVO. The add-on is free to sign up to and unlocks the specialist rate to run the Ecodan heat pump.
