Robertson Heating Supply Co. continued its 85th anniversary celebration Wednesday with a vendor expo that brought hundreds of people to the West Main Street business. The private event gave the company a chance to showcase vendors from several states.
One special guest in attendance was retired NFL football player Joe Thomas, who was on hand to sign autographs and take photos with guests. Thomas, who is regarded as one of the best offensive linemen of all time, played 11 seasons with the Cleveland Browns, appearing in the Pro Bowl after his first 10.

He also holds the record for most consecutive snaps, having never missed a snap in his career until an injury broke the streak in 2017. He retired after the 2017 season and recently signed with the NFL Network to be a studio analyst which will include Thursday Night Football telecasts.
Thomas was a popular stop at the expo, signing photos, footballs — and even a baby. Josh Anstine brought his 1-year-old daughter, Maggie Abigail Anstine, to meet the football star, and had him sign the little girl’s Browns outfit. She was one of several fans sporting Browns gear at the event.
The expo was the second vendor event in two days. The company held a vendor dinner Tuesday evening at the Alliance Country Club with the top-tier executives of several companies to celebrate 85 years in business.
