Rheem®, the Atlanta-based manufacturer of water heating and HVAC products, donated $10,000 to Atlanta-headquartered, Habitat for Humanity® International, on July 2, following a successful six-week Charity Miles challenge.

wellness journey

Rheem employees embarked on a wellness journey that allowed them to earn miles for Habitat. Between May 6 and June 14, more than 130 employees volunteered to log their biking, walking, or running on the Charity Miles app, which turns miles logged into money for charity.

Collectively, the Rheem volunteers completed 14,512 miles of exercise to reach the company’s goal. That's more than three round trips between Atlanta and Los Angeles, a testament to the power of collective action!
