Reliable Controls has announced that MACH-ProView and MACH-ProView LCD controllers are now available with an optional volatile organic compound sensor. MACH-ProView devices are powerful, elegant, freely programmable BACnet Building Controllers (B-BC) that allow users to monitor and control the comfort and energy of any space. In addition to being a BACnet Building Controller, the MACH-ProView LCD is listed as a BACnet Operator Display (B-OD) that provides a plenitude of attractive, high-resolution graphical interfaces.

MACH-ProView devices can now be ordered with a volatile organic compound (VOC) sensor that provides air quality measurement relevant to the comfort and health of building occupants. VOC is a complementary measurement to CO2 that detects a wide array of chemical compounds both natural and human-made, and provides better indoor air quality measurement than CO2 alone.

measure and regulate indoor air quality

VOC sensor features include the following:

  • 0–8,190 ppb range
  • Resolution: 2 ppb (0–2,008 ppb); 6 ppb (2,009+ ppb)
  • Automatic background calibration
  • Automatic humidity measurement

The MACH-ProView can now also be ordered with an optional override button for after-hours applications and where an override is needed. Backed by an industry-recognized 5-year warranty and a worldwide network of certified Authorized Dealers, Reliable Controls MACH-ProView controllers with optional VOC sensing provide building operators with a sustainable solution to measure and regulate indoor air quality.
