Phoenix Manufacturing, Inc. (PMI) announces a new addition to the company’s evaporative cooler line up.

UL Classified and UL Listed models for both the PMI Trophy and Pro Series coolers are now available. The primary difference between a UL Classified and UL Listed model is that the Listed version uses GlasDek (fire and smoke rated) rigid media.

High Efficiency Coolers

In addition, Pheonix offers a U.L. version of these 2 models with the standard media when an application is defined as a single drop or non-ducted usage. This simple application can still be U.L. listed at a much reduced cost versus the GlasDek version and is often found in greenhouses, make up air applications etc.

PMI Trophy and Pro Series evaporative coolers are high efficiency coolers that use blocks of either 8″ thick or 12″ thick honeycomb shaped media. This media is housed in a separate section of the cooler away from the blower and motor. Additionally this wet section is fully lined with plastic, providing many years of cooling comfort.
