In light of the government closing its Green Homes Grant, Panasonic has announced an extension to its own Green Cashback Schemes to provide installers and homeowners with a longer period to benefit from this generous scheme.

Now extended for a further two months, the two schemes offer generous cashback on the completion of installations of Aquarea Air-to-Water heat pumps.  Projects must be completed by 31 August 2021 and all claims for the cash need to be submitted by 30 September 2021.

Authority Comment

Richard Bishop, UK Head of Marketing for Panasonic commented, “We are delighted to be able to help both installers and homeowners with the extension of our Green Homes Cashback schemes. Homeowners can take advantage of the reliable, sustainable heating and hot water provided by Aquarea heat pumps, and by extending the scheme, they will have more time to complete their projects during what has been a challenging period."

"The Aquarea range is one of the widest on the market and offers capacities and configurations to suit all homes and heating requirements. With the planned phase-out of gas boilers coming soon, an air source heat pump is the wisest energy-saving improvement a homeowner can make right now for heating and hot water.

Cashback for Homeowners

Panasonic Aquarea system provides an innovative low-energy solution Both Green Cashback schemes are straightforward with cashback for homeowners to claim, whilst installers also benefit from extensive resources through the Panasonic PRO Club platform.

The Panasonic Aquarea system offers a reliable system thanks to its quality components that provide an innovative low-energy solution and is designed to deliver ideal temperatures and hot water, even with extreme outdoor temperatures.

Schemes for Homeowners

The two schemes, one for homeowners and one for installers, provide cashback on qualifying Aquarea installations completed between October 2020 and the end of August 2021 (all claims to be submitted by 30 September 2021).

Installers:  The Green Install Scheme for installers can provide a cashback of £800 – following the successful installation of five Panasonic Aquarea A2W heat pumps with a Smart Cloud Controller.    Installers can further benefit from using the Panasonic Service Cloud to enable remote maintenance and monitoring of the Aquarea units which provides: an error log history, a global view at a glance, full unit information, statistics on usage plus lots more useful information.

Consumers: The Green Homes consumer scheme is for homeowners replacing oil-fired, LPG, electric, or mains gas boilers and offers up to £600 depending on the size of the air source heat pump (conditions apply).

Both the above Panasonic Green Cashback Schemes are available throughout the UK and claims can be submitted regardless of whether participants have claimed any government incentives.
