Panasonic is pleased to announce that it is has partnered with the ‘Sparks’ series of events, where UK college lecturers will ‘Meet the Manufacturer’.

Taking place across the United Kingdom, throughout January and February 2022, the Sparks events highlight the urgent need to encourage the new generation of engineers, installers and plumbers, to embrace low carbon solutions, in order to combat the effects of climate change and to meet government targets for net zero carbon emissions by 2050.

Enhancing knowledge of low carbon solutions

Panasonic aims to help college lecturers and faculty members to increase their knowledge of low carbon solutions

By visiting further education colleges across the United Kingdom, Panasonic aims to help college lecturers and faculty members to increase their knowledge and experience of low carbon solutions, by providing details of its R&D program, training seminars and technology developments for low carbon heating. Panasonic’s regional teams visiting the colleges all have a wealth of experience in the heating and cooling sector.

Richard Bishop, the Head of Marketing for UK and Ireland at Panasonic, commented “Panasonic as a company is hugely enthusiastic about the environment and I believe, we can help the UK meet its low carbon targets, through supporting and advising the FE College lecturers, who can pass on this knowledge to their students in each region.

Panasonic’s Aquarea Range of air source heat pumps

Richard Bishop adds, “Switching technologies from traditional systems, powered by Mains Gas, Oil or LPG to an Air Source Heat Pump, such as the Panasonic Aquarea Range, can deliver significant cost savings, improvements to heating performance and low sound levels. With heat pumps hitting the media headlines and following on from COP26, we have recently seen a huge increase in demand from both home owners and installers, for more information and first-hand training.”

The Panasonic wide range of heat pumps provides highly efficient heating and hot water, while also being a reliable, low carbon solution that offers long-term energy savings.

Richard Bishop further stated, “We are looking forward to meeting and to informing people of how we can help by supporting communities and organisations to develop and combat climate change.
