Malco Products, SBC, one of the manufacturers of high-quality, American-made tools for professional use, announced the expansion of its best-selling line of C-RHEX® cleanable, reversible magnetic hex drivers to include 7- and 8-millimeter hex sizes.

These new millimeter models will be available in three lengths: 2-inch, 4-inch, and 6-inch.

We are introducing versatile products to address emerging market needs for new specializations"

The trade professionals who use our C-RHEX drivers on the job requested these new millimeter sizes for servicing goods sourced from overseas and in regions such as Europe and Canada where 7- and 8-millimeter screws are common,” said Nancy Gunnerson, Marketing Manager for Malco Products.

She adds, “This expansion reflects our tradition of responding to end-user feedback by introducing versatile products to address emerging market needs for new specializations and more customization.”

dual-sided 1/4-inch, 5/16-inch C-RHEX drivers

In 2017, Malco first released its classic dual-sided 1/4-inch and 5/16-inch C-RHEX drivers, allowing users to quickly change between popular hex sizes and eliminate the troublesome buildup of sheet metal shavings with the swipe of a glove or towel.

Available in four lengths, C-RHEX drivers are quick to set up and change between sizes while the driver shank remains installed in the drill chuck.

C-RHEX line

Since the initial introduction, the C-RHEX line includes the new 7- and 8-millimeter hex sizes, in addition to the existing 8- and 10-millimeter; 6- and 8-millimeter; 5/16-inch and 3/8-inch; and 1/4-inch and 5/16-inch drivers.

The 7-millimeter hex size is specially designed with a slim profile for trade pros to gain easier access in tight spaces for increased productivity,” said Nancy Gunnerson, adding “This niche size, paired with the 8-millimeter hex, is a great option for service applications where 5/16-inch screws are commonly used.”
