The H&V News Awards took place in April. As usual, it was a fantastic evening, with plenty of light-hearted entertainment provided by presenter Sean Long.
The more serious aspect of the annual awards recognized the efforts and innovation of many companies within the industry, including Lochinvar with their EcoSword gas-fired condensing water heater being one of the nominees in the category of Commercial HVAC Product of the Year, Heating Units.

The EcoSword range consists of nine high-efficiency models with storage capacities from 163 to 338 litres
The EcoSword range consists of nine high-efficiency models with storage capacities from 163 to 338 liters. Hot water recovery rates ranging from 210 to 540 liters per hour are available; these hot water outputs are based upon a temperature rise of 50°C.
There was some very strong competition in this category, and Lochinvar were delighted that EcoSword was Highly Commended by H&V News Awards. They are very proud of this achievement and they anticipate that EcoSword will go from strength to strength and will continue to provide the customers, with an efficient and reliable hot water solution.
EcoSword achieves operating efficiencies of up to 98.2% and frequently provides savings on energy consumption when replacing current hot water systems. With low NOx emissions of just 37mg per KWh, EcoSword is also particularly suitable for projects subject to BREEAM assessment, and qualifies for the maximum 3 points.
