EnergySolutions, Inc. announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Ken Robuck as President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective June 30, 2018.  

Ken was previously President of EnergySolutions’ Nuclear Decommissioning division. David Lockwood, the current President and CEO, will remain with the company as Executive Chairman.

Largest decommissioning contract

"Ken is an outstanding pioneer with proven managerial and operational skills," said David Lockwood, adding "Over his four years at the company, Ken has been responsible for many of our most important initiatives. He led the award of the SONGS project, the largest decommissioning contract in the company’s history, and the successful execution of the Zion project, ahead of schedule."

He continues, "I am confident Ken will take our company forward in the years ahead as we continue to build on our success as the pioneer in nuclear decommissioning. I look forward to my role as Executive Chairman in supporting Ken’s leadership of our company."
