In August 2018, Isaac announced that its nationally recognized Isaac University (Isaac U) is partnering with Monroe Community College (MCC) in Rochester. This partnership also makes Isaac U coursework completed by Isaac technicians eligible for up to 18 college credits at MCC.

Program features

Isaac U’s program features full-time instructors, dedicated classrooms, and a special 1,800-sq. ft. technician lab.

This lab in Rochester is providing an in-field service experience featuring hands-on training, exams, and fieldwork. The Isaac and MCC partnership helps address the demand for HVAC technicians while offering college credits for Isaac U courses.

Supports innovation and excellence

Our technicians are highly trained experts in a field that continues to thrive—with changing technology, professional advancement, and high customer demand. This will be a ‘win-win’ for Isaac and MCC, and I am delighted to partner in this opportunity to advance the careers and credentials of our employees,” said Ray Isaac, President of Isaac Heating & Air Conditioning.

This partnership with Isaac fits the Monroe Community College mission. This mission is to serve as a catalyst for innovation and excellence in support of local industry needs,” said Dr. Todd Oldham, Vice President of Economic and Workforce Development and Career Technical Education at MCC. “Both MCC and Isaac have a mutual interest in increasing the number of credentialed workers in the HVAC industry. This advances both the field and the worker.”
