Isaac Heating and Air Conditioning are committed to training Isaac the best technicians in the business. To fulfill this commitment, Isaac is opening a brand new training and education facility. This new facility will provide hands-on experience with heating, A/C, electrical, and plumbing.

There isn’t a heating and air conditioning company in the country that’s doing what we’re doing,” said Ray Isaac, President. “The new Isaac Training & Education Center (ITEC) will include a 20,000-square-foot technical lab and 10,000 square feet of classroom space. All of this and more will support the training needs of our company and outside training partners.”

Training at Isaac for the Trades

ITEC will be home to Isaac’s continuing education programs and Isaac Boot Camp In fact, within ITEC Isaac is building a whole house to aid technicians in identifying and problem-solving all issues related to home mechanicals. The home is a system where the HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and insulation all work together. This trains the technicians to always address the entire home.

ITEC will be home to Isaac’s continuing education programs and Isaac Boot Camp. Boot Camp is a 12-week paid training program where successful graduates are offered a position with the company.

By the Numbers

Over the past year, Isaac has trained more than 50 new technicians, who then went to work in the field. “Given the number of new technicians we’re bringing in, we’ve simply maxed out our current location’s training space,” Isaac said.

This new facility provides the opportunity for us to conduct our training more effectively, more efficiently, and, most importantly, safely.” The ultimate benefactors of this extensive training are the clients Isaac serves. Increased competence promotes increased confidence, which ensures clients receive quality installation and services.

Partnerships

Isaac’s partnership with MCC makes coursework completed by Isaac technicians eligible for up to 18 college credits Isaac’s partnership with Monroe Community College (MCC) makes coursework completed by Isaac technicians eligible for up to 18 college credits at MCC.

Isaac was awarded PAHRA (Partnership for Air-Conditioning, Heating, Refrigeration Accreditation). Isaac is one of the only contractors in the country to possess this status. This is a partnership between heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration educators and the HVACR industry. It awards accreditation to programs that have met and/or exceeded industry-validated standards.

Additionally, Isaac has been approved as a New York State Apprenticeship Program provider for Sheet Metal Workers. This is an honor typically reserved for trade schools. Isaac is the only contractor with this program.
