The Ideal System Filter is an efficient, full-flow, magnetic filter designed to protect central heating systems by removing suspended debris in a heating system, including iron oxide. A dirty heating system results in substantial efficiency loss and energy wastage, meaning it costs more to run and maintain.

The functionality of the new system filter is very similar to the previous one: it has a 22 mm compression connections, can be mounted in different orientations, the magnet pulls out of the top and there is a drain valve underneath.

However, the new System Filter brings additional benefits:

  • The high quality brass body has a nickel finish and is made in Europe
  • The compact size of the filter body makes siting under the boiler easier
  • IT has a lower pressure drop and so more pump head is retained for better water circulation
  • The slip socket design makes for easier installation onto existing pipes
  • There are multiple connection options using both, one or neither of the isolation valves, as preferred
  • Using no valves keeps the installation very compact

The new System Filter now comes with the following boilers in the boiler box:

  • Logic Max Combi2
  • Logic Max System2
  • Logic Max Heat2
  • Vogue Max Combi
  • Vogue Max System

The System Filter available as an accessory has also been updated to the new version.

Some additional accessories are also available on Connect:

  • Flushing adaptor
  • Camlock Magnaclense connectors
  • Seal and O-ring kit
