When Letitia Conliffe was asked to share her story about the Lil 4’s Club in Sulphur Springs, Texas on ABC’s The View, she had no idea that Goodman Distribution, Inc., had donated a new Goodman brand air conditioning system to her after school youth community center.
Goodman, a brand of heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) products for residential and light commercial use, donated an entire energy-efficiency heating and cooling system. JFK, Inc., a local HVAC dealer, installed the system and associated system accessories.
New air conditioner

“When we heard the Lil 4’s Club story and all that Letitia was able to provide the kids of Sulphur Springs with such limited resources, we knew we wanted to help in any way we could,” said Sean Reilly, Goodman Branch Manager. “The small building that she occupies was in desperate need of a new air conditioner, while her side building didn’t even have one. And our friends at JFK, Inc. were able to install the new system without her knowing.”
Created by Conliffe after she found herself homeless, pregnant and without a support system, the Lil 4’s Club is more than just a building for kids to go, it’s often times the only place they can access running water, hot meals or adult supervision.
Helping communities
“Seeing Letitia’s face on The View Tuesday morning when she found out about the new A/C unit is something we will not forget,” said Jeff Redding, JFK Inc. “We’re proud to be associated with the Goodman brand, one that is supportive of us helping our communities and special places like the Lil 4’s Club. We hope this makes a difference for Letitia and the kids, especially this hot Texas summer and for years to come.”
The Lil 4’s Club and Letitia Conliffe also received donations from other sponsors including H-E-B, Jarrell Company, Seconds and Surplus, Skineez, Grace Eleyae and Blended Designs.
