It is estimated that in a commercial building the air conditioning system contributes to approximately 50% to energy consumption and that, in particular, the air filtration system it is responsible for about 30%.

General Filter, in order to help companies optimize the overall energy efficiency, is to launch a new range of products specifically developed for the energy saving, supported by tailor-made consultancy services to guide customers in choosing the best, yet environmentally-friendly, combination of filters.

Maintaining high efficiency

The new range of Energy Saving products is an important milestone for General Filter in the field of air filtration. Boasting both ergonomic engineering, developed after conducting several comparative tests, and new materials, the range offers a lower pressure drop and a proportionally higher operating life, while maintaining high efficiency, thus helping to lower the overall energy consumption.

The Energy Saving filters are certified according to the new Eurovent energy classification introduced in the guideline Eurovent 4/21.

However, other factors that might affect the overall efficiency of a filter should be taken into account: in the ‘Life Cycle Cost’, in fact, they should also consider the cost of the filters, the cost for their installation and replacement, as well as for their disposal. This is the reason why General Filter has implemented a tailor-made consultancy service that offers customized solutions in order to help achieve maximum efficiency by taking into account all the variables that can affect a filtration system.
