Just in time for warmer spring temperatures, GE Appliances, a Haier company, introduces the GE Profile™ ClearView™ Energy Star certified window air conditioner. The innovative below-the-sill installation and sleek design offer cooling performance without compromising the window view, ultra-quiet operation, and the connected features that consumers expect from GE Profile.

The new GE Profile ClearView is designed to install safely and easily below the windowsill using novel adjustable supports, eliminating the need for a mounting bracket. An industry-exclusive flex-depth adjustable chase-way design ensures that it fits wall sizes in most U.S. homes and apartments.

ClearView’s unique design allows owners to enjoy the full outside view"

ClearView’s unique design allows owners to enjoy the full outside view, while also giving the ability to freely open and close the window as needed,” said Brian Buente, executive director of ACs for GE Appliances. “This is a major shift from a traditional window air conditioner, which takes up the entire lower half of a window.”

Designed with consumers in mind, this unit is packed with the features that owners value the most in window air conditioners, including:

  • Connected: Built-in Wi-Fi capabilities integrate with GEA’s SmartHQ app, allowing owners to make temperature adjustments before they get home, create schedules, and check energy efficiency. Users can also enable geolocation, creating energy savings and peace of mind. When activated, the location assists feature uses the phone’s location to determine if homeowners are away from home and then automatically adjusts the temperature setting to maximize overall comfort and efficiency. As homeowners return, the AC automatically transitions to the ideal preset temperature, quickly cooling the space. Voice command capabilities allow connection to a smart speaker like Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant.
  • Ultra Quiet: Part of the Quietest Window AC Brand in the U.S.2, the ClearView operates as low as 41 dB to deliver maximum comfort, at minimum noise.
  • Contemporary Design: The ClearView front grill features the distinctive GE Profile pattern offering a modern aesthetic for the living space. The capacitive touch display with auto-dimming prevents disturbances during sleep.

The GE Profile ClearView window air conditioner will be available online and at local, independent dealers starting in March 2022. Available in 6100 or 8300 BTUs to cool small to medium-sized rooms.
