GE Appliances (GEA), a Haier company, appointed Steve Eddy as Senior Vice President of Sales effective immediately, reporting to Rick Hasselbeck, Chief Commercial Officer for the company.

Eddy, previously Vice President of Retail Sales for GEA, replaces Robert Rogers who decided to retire at the end of the year after a tremendous 33-year career in the appliances industry. With Eddy’s promotion, John Boyd was named the Vice President of Retail Sales and Dan Goldstein was named Vice President of Contract Sales ensuring a seamless transition both internally and externally.

Increasing leadership responsibility

Eddy joined GE Appliances on the Area Sales Manager Training Program in Atlanta

Steve Eddy - After completing his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Georgia State University, Eddy joined GE Appliances on the Area Sales Manager Training Program in Atlanta, Georgia. He held roles of increasing leadership responsibility in both Retail and Contract Sales, including Region Manager and Commercial Director, as well as an international assignment in Budapest, Hungary, as the General Manager, Marketing for GE Lighting’s Europe, Middle East and Africa operations. He also spent ten years growing the company’s business with Lowe’s.

Growth-Oriented commercial leader

John Boyd – Boyd has more than 24 years of GEA commercial experience in roles of increasing leadership scope, including Retail Region Manager and Commercial Director – Refrigeration. He has led the contract business since 2013. He is a data-driven leader with deep relationships in both channels. Boyd has a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Kentucky and a Master of Business Administration from Old Dominion University.

Goldstein is a GEA veteran with more than 21 years of diverse experience in key sales and marketing roles

Dan Goldstein – Goldstein is a GEA veteran with more than 21 years of diverse experience in key sales and marketing roles including Commercial Director – Refrigeration and Sales GM - National Accounts. He has held his most recent role as Executive Director for Groups & Independents since 2017. Goldstein is a growth-oriented commercial leader who looks at opportunities with a fresh approach and a relentless passion to win. He has a bachelor’s degree in management from Indiana University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Louisville.

Passion-Driven organization

Boyd and Goldstein will report to Steve Eddy and will be members of the Commercial Staff and the GE Appliances Executive Council Leadership team.
