Like many, Kevin Nolan, CEO, GE Appliances and his leadership team continue to closely monitor the evolving situation regarding coronavirus (COVID-19) both in the U.S. and globally. While the circumstances of COVID-19 remain dynamic and uncertain, the company have taken and continue to take assertive, steady action to help ensure that the employees as well as the supply chain at GE Appliances remain healthy and strong.

As always, the health and safety of the employees and those the company serves are paramount. The team have been closely following the directives of local and state health professionals to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information regarding the virus to help prevent its spread.

Steps to reduce the risk

To respond to this rapidly-changing situation, GE Appliances have taken several steps to reduce the risk of anyone at GE Appliances contracting or inadvertently spreading this disease. As a result, GE Appliances have restricted international and domestic travel, limited visitors to the facilities, and reinforced the importance of appropriate cleaning measures of high-touch areas.

GE Appliances have canceled participation at large meetings and strongly recommended that all employees who can work from home do so. And continue sharing key health guidance with the employees on the importance of social distancing and proper hand washing.

Additionally, GE Appliances continue working tirelessly to protect the supply chain and the ability to produce, sell and service the appliances. People in every comer of the country may be relying on GE Appliances and the products to keep the homes clean, the food and medicine safe, and to help make meals for the families.

Committed to serving the customers

At the end of the day, GE Appliances are doing what they can to do to help make life easier for people at home. GE Appliances have made great strides to secure the parts and materials needed to keep the plants operating and service unwavering.

At GE Appliances, the belief is in and value the spirit of community. As this situation develops, know that GE Appliances remains committed to serving the customers and users across the country and join in keeping the communities healthy and safe.
