With the deadline fast approaching, heating installers across the UK have less than a month left to enter the highly esteemed Heating Installer Awards 2024.

Free entry

After a remarkably successful eighth year, the competition is set to close entries on February 26th, offering installers the chance to compete for the prestigious title of National Heating Installer of the Year.

Supported by industry leaders including The IPG, Polypipe, Refresh PR, Samsung Climate Solutions, CIPHE, and Stelrad the awards are completely free to enter and give installers the chance to showcase their work to potential customers.

Award categories

Additionally, a new category, the HVAC Award, recognizes installers providing full home comfort systems

This year's categories feature the Regional Winners, National Heating Installer, Rising Star for apprentices, and the Most Sustainable Installer in the North, South, and Midlands.

Additionally, a new category, the HVAC Award, recognizes installers providing full home comfort systems that encompass heating, cooling, and enhanced air quality.

£10,000 prize

The awards, which have gained acclaim for spotlighting the often-overlooked professionals in the heating and plumbing industry, offer a substantial prize bundle exceeding £10,000 for the finalists. Prizes include products from sponsors and partners, along with money-can’t-buy prizes.

Entries can be submitted until February 26th, and the judging process will involve a panel of experts from the industry, professional bodies, and fellow installers.

Selection criteria

The winners will be determined via combination of judges' scores, technical challenges, and a public vote

Regional finalists will be selected, and an initial shortlist for the various categories, including Sustainability – North, Sustainability – Midlands, Sustainability – South, HVAC, and Rising Star, will be compiled.

The ultimate winners will be determined through a combination of judges' scores, technical challenges, and a public vote.

Award ceremony

Regional winners will be celebrated at an exclusive event in April, followed by a national winner's event where they will face a technical challenge set by the previous year's national winner, James Bowen.

The grand announcement of the National Heating Installer of 2024, along with the category winners, will take place in June.
