The Eurovent Product Group ‘Energy Recovery Components’ has elected Rikard Lindbom (RECUTECH) as the group’s new Vice-Chairman. The election took place during the groups online meeting on 26 April 2023.

Rikard Lindbom, Product Area Director Energy Recovery at RECUTECH has extensive experience in the energy sector and has been involved in the industry’s sales, production technology and development of calculation software for 15 years. Rikard will be supporting the group’s Chairman Thomas Richter, Head of Product Management at Hoval.

Product segment worldwide

The new Vice-Chairman, Rikard Lindbom, stated: “I would like to thank the group participants for their trust in my work and for electing me as their Vice-Chairman. Over the years, the Eurovent Product Group ‘Energy Recovery Components’ has continuously grown. In fact, with all major manufacturers participating, it has become one of the leading group for this product segment worldwide.”

Lindbom continues by highlighting: “This evolution also reflects the ever-increasing relevance of heating and cooling recovery technologies. These products are crucial to ensuring an energy efficient HVAC equipment operation. They also enable us to provide a healthy indoor climate in the most efficient way.”

The Eurovent Product Group ‘Energy Recovery Components’ (PG-ERC) covers rotary heat exchangers, run-around coils and heat pipes. The group is engaged with European and national legislation regarding the European air conditioning industry. It is also concerned with developing EN, ISO and Eurovent standardization.
