DRI-STEEM Corporation, the manufacturer of humidification, evaporative cooling, and water treatment products, is pleased to announce the addition of Adiatec® ultrasonic humidifiers to their evaporative cooling and humidification product line.

Adiatec ultrasonic humidifier

The DriSteem Adiatec ultrasonic humidifier uses high-frequency oscillating piezoelectric transducers to agitate the water, causing it to develop into very small droplets of mist.

This fine mist is carried out of the unit through the air flow generated in an air handler or integrated fans. As the mist is absorbed into the air, evaporation causes air temperature to drop, reducing the cooling load. This provides significant energy savings when cooling and humidifying simultaneously.

thirteen models

Modulating demand signal and constant temperature allow ultrasonic humidifiers to offer tight humidity control

DriSteem offers thirteen models of Adiatec ultrasonic humidifiers, with capacities ranging from 2.2 to 55.3 lbs/hr. BR series models are designed for in-room applications, while BA series models are specifically designed to be placed in an air handling unit (AHU) or duct.

Adiatec ultrasonic humidifiers feature a sleek design with a mirrored stainless-steel enclosure. Modulating demand signal and constant temperature/airflow control allows Adiatec ultrasonic humidifiers to offer tight humidity control, within +/- 1% of the RH setpoint.

Features

Adiatec ultrasonic humidifiers feature:

  • An adiabatic process that utilizes existing energy in the space.
  • Tight control of humidity output.
  • Sleek, mirrored stainless-steel enclosure.
  • Integrated dispersion of mist.
  • Hydronic drain to maintain the highest hygienic standards.
  • Quiet operation.

low-energy solutions

The new Adiatec ultrasonic humidifier is something to be excited about,” says Ryan Reimer, DriSteem Senior Product Manager. “By offering ultrasonic technology we can serve applications that require low-energy solutions for humidification."

"Adding ultrasonic to our portfolio of humidifiers ultimately lets the end user choose a high-quality DriSteem humidifier no matter what technology they prefer.Adiatec ultrasonic humidifiers are available for order immediately.
