Diversified Heat Transfer, Inc. (DHT), a globally renowned engineering and manufacturing company of heat transfer equipment and systems, is pleased to announce the launch of a new product aimed at the medical community.

An offshoot of their SuperPlate (SP) Series of advanced plate-type water heaters, the new SPC Liquid to Liquid Cooling Heat Exchanger is a high-efficiency, brazed plate packaged cooling system.

SPC Series

The SPC Series satisfies the most demanding liquid-to-liquid cooling needs in a multitude of healthcare, campus settings, and industrial environments.

It can be utilized for cooling MRI machines, CT and PET scanners, Electron Microscopes, and Linear Accelerators, as well as for industrial and HVAC cooling needs, among others.

liquid-to-liquid cooling solution

"The SPC requires no storage tanks, and with its compact footprint is ideal for both new and retrofit installations, where space can be an issue," stated Chris Bove, DHT's National Sales Manager.

He adds, "DHT has decades of experience meeting the heating and cooling needs of hospitals, medical centers, and research labs and facilities, so it made sense for us to add a liquid-to-liquid cooling solution to our portfolio of product offerings.

SPC Series Liquid Cooler

The SPC Series Liquid Cooler can efficiently produce up to 90 GPM of chilled liquid, depending upon operating temperatures, with controllability of +/- 2° F.

With a maximum of 150 PSIG water pressure and an adjustable temperature control set point, the SPC uses real-time load tracking and responsive controls to maintain accurate cooling temperatures under various load patterns.
