Distech Controls, Inc., an innovative pioneer in intelligent buildings, announced the first expansion phase of its global headquarters in Brossard, Quebec, creating new job opportunities and investing in the local community.

"We are focused on expanding our addressable market by increasing where we compete and what we can control," says Martin Villeneuve, President of Distech Controls, adding "In order to support this growth, we are expanding our global headquarters in Brossard by 43,000 sq ft, having completed the expansion of our European headquarters in Brignais, France earlier this year."

Energy efficiency and support

Martin Villeneuve adds: "This increases production and inventory space by 200 percent and our office space by over 125 percent. The expansion positions us well to meet the needs of our growing global customer base."

Distech Controls® building automation controllers, sensors, and software are being used throughout the building to drive energy efficiency and support a healthy environment. The team worked with JLL, QMD, and Neuf Architects to create a collaborative, modern workspace that reflects the mission to make spaces smarter, safer, and greener.
