Process to obtain an EPD (Environmental Product Declaration)
The process of obtaining an EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) for a product involves conducting a life cycle assessment (LCA) to measure the environmental impacts associated with all the stages of a product’s life, from raw material extraction through materials processing, manufacture, distribution, use, repair and maintenance, and disposal or recycling.
After the LCA is completed, the findings are compiled into an EPD report. The methodology used is built on the same standards, details can be found on the International EPD website. By filtering ‘by Danfoss’ products in the Library, customers can find the details about DEVI heating cables.
