Since Cooper&Hunter’s introduction to the U.S. market in 2015, the company has placed great emphasis on its single and multi-zone mini-split systems. But, in an ever-growing and fast-changing market, C&H has decided to expand their product line up with the addition of air handler units and commercial VRF systems.

Air handler units offer a versatile replacement for traditional air conditioning systems that can be connected to pre-existing ductwork, but with smaller units that are quieter (variable-speed fan motor) and more energy efficient.

Providing dependable heating

The air handlers, which are available in 18K, 24K, 36K, 48K, and 60K Btu/h models, can be installed vertically, horizontally, or downward. These units can be connected to any 24V wall thermostat and are compatible with standard 18K to 60K Btu/h outdoor models or Hyper Heat upgrades, which provide dependable heating in ambient temperatures as low as -22°.

Models ranging from 36K to 60K Btu/h work for single zone applications

Models ranging from 36K to 60K Btu/h work for single zone applications, while 18K and 24K Btu/h are compatible with both single and multi-zone condensers. Notable features include high static pressure and Quiet Operation. Cooper&Hunter is adding VRF systems to their product catalog, pushing the brand into the commercial HVAC category. Mini VRFs, 48K and 60K Btu/h, are heat pumps only while the commercial VRFs, 72K, 96K, 122K, 144K, 168K, and 192K Btu/h, are heat recovery systems.

Once connected to the WiFi adapter, up to 4 iOS or Android devices can be used to control up to 64 indoor units. Humidity sensors and infrared sensors will also be available.
