ClimateMaster paints the service access panel on their Tranquility® TY Compact Horizontal and Vertical Units, while the rest of the unit is unpainted galvanized steel.
Because these units are installed in ceiling plenums or closets, the need for painting on typical installations does not add value. The customers agreed too. Beginning on May 1, 2018, Standard TY units will now be galvanized only.
Request for access panels paint
If for some reason, paint on the access panels require, the same can be done by submitting a special request via the online business center. An open order that needs to ship with painted panels, could be done via a customer service representative.
