pCO5+ controller
At the heart of the system is the pCO5+ controller, equipped with the CLIMASET s.r.l. Software for seasoning rooms.
The regulation supports two different modes:
- Fixed setpoints mode,
- Program/phases mode (up to ten programs with ten phases each).
CLIMASET s.r.l. regulation
The CLIMASET s.r.l. Regulation for seasoning rooms also offers:
- The management of room temperature and humidity, with the possibility of setting every type of device for managing cooling, heating, humidification, and dehumidification of the room.
- The possibility of setting an initial dripping phase or a final maintenance phase.
- The management of product smoking cycles and air exchanges.
- The management of cyclical work/pause periods.
- Advanced energy savings, for taking advantage of external conditions when they are favourable and they permit to reduce operating costs.
- The management of defrosts, with the possibility of setting defrosts of different types, such as electrical ones, water, hot gas, and air. Furthermore, defrosts could be cyclically initialized by time or set by specific time bands.
- The management of system alarms, with an appropriate historicization.
The pCO5+ board could be interfaced with supervision and teleassistance systems, using the Carel or Modbus protocol via RS-485. Other protocols are available using appropriate expansion boards.
The user interface: pGDX 7”
This 7-inch touch terminal allows users to have the seasoning room at a glance every time: with its intuitive and easy-to-use graphics, the pGDX is the perfect choice for service personnel and anyone who interacts daily with the seasoning room.
With the 7” pGDX for seasoning rooms, users can:
- Visualize the status of the system,
- Visualize the status of the seasoning, such as the active program, the active phase, etc.
- Start or stop the seasoning, and set the various seasoning parameters such as phases, phases duration, etc.
- Turn ON/OFF the seasoning room,
- See the active alarms and reset them, and
- Change the setpoints and other user parameters.

The 7” pGDX is equipped with a handy lateral LED bar that lights up with a color representing the status of the system, the eventual presence of alarms, and the seasoning status.
With the pGDX user does not need one or more pGDN semigraphic terminals to see the various masks of the pCO5+: due to the terminal emulator, the user can visualize the data of the programmable controller directly from the pGDX.
