CETIAT, a technical center for aeraulic and thermal industries in the French and international industrial ecosystem, has joined Eurovent as its newest Associate Member.
Established in 1960, CETIAT is an independent French technical center for the Heating Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) industry.
HVAC activities
It is a reference point to support industrial innovation projects in the areas of ecological and energy transition, decarbonization, indoor air quality, and energy metrology.
CETIAT’s HVAC activities are split into 4 categories: engineering studies, testing of HVAC equipment, calibration of measuring instruments in the field of energy, and training for installers, technicians, and engineers.
European and international standards
Mr. Pierre Claudel, General Manager at CETIAT, stated, “CETIAT's teams have been involved in the development of European and international standards for HVAC equipment (heat pumps, boilers, chillers, ventilation systems, fans, and filters), in the evolution of European regulations and the development of test methods in support of standardization."
Pierre Claudel adds, "As such, CETIAT's experts are in a close relationship with Eurovent, working together in various Product Groups to provide their expertise as a testing laboratory. Officially joining Eurovent is, therefore, an additional commitment to the European HVACR industry to help tackle the climate change challenges.”
