Caryaire announces the launch of its High-Performance Weather Resistance Louvers. Suitable of Intake and Exhaust, Model IL-352 is a Dual Layered Extruded Aluminum Drainable louver designed to have superior resistance to water penetration. 

The Louver consists of front drainable blades, characterized by gutters incorporated at the front edge to prevent water droplets cascading from blade to blade and becoming entrained in the intake airflow.

Drainable Intake/Exhaust Louvers

Vertical gutters located in the jamb frames carry the water to the sill frame where it exits from the louver assembly between the sill frame and bottom blade.

The secondary rear vertical blades are chevron-shaped for increasing the efficacy of water resistance. Drainable Intake/Exhaust Louvers have an enhanced resistance to water penetration than conventional louvers.
