i-Vu Express joins the family of flexible, scalable i-Vu solutions, including i-Vu Cloud

i-Vu Express joins the family of flexible, scalable i-Vu solutions, including i-Vu Cloud, a cloud-hosted, subscription-based offering, and i-Vu Pro, an on-premises, software-only offering installed on a customer-supplied building automation server to support unlimited i-Vu controllers. Like i-Vu Pro, i-Vu Express runs on-premises, but the software is pre-loaded on a compact web device for easy installation. It supports up to 750 i-Vu controllers.

The new i-Vu Express device connects to the internet and uses a containerized Linux operating system, which enables automatic software updates for enhanced security of i-Vu and the device operating system. Updates are automatically pushed to subscribed i-Vu devices for users to install them at their convenience.
