Bryant Heating & Cooling Systems (Bryant) is proud to announce the release of a new line of mid-tier single-zone ductless outdoor units that offer stronger performance in extreme temperatures as well as increased efficiency.

Preferred Series outdoor units

These units replace the existing line of Preferred Series single-zone ductless systems currently available. Bryant is a part of UTC Climate, Controls & Security, a unit of United Technologies Corporation.

The new Preferred Series outdoor units are only one part of a much larger ductless investment aimed at providing customers a comprehensive suite of ductless systems to meet their needs.

Single-zone ductless systems

We are intensely focused on delivering and supporting the finest line of ductless systems in the industry"

The Bryant team continues to do whatever it takes, day-after-day, to provide a robust industry-changing lineup of ductless systems, and this new product is only the latest example of our commitment,” said Meredith Emmerich, Managing Director, Ductless and VRF Systems at Bryan Heating & Cooling.

Meredith adds, “We are intensely focused on delivering and supporting the finest line of ductless systems in the industry, and want to ensure that our Bryant dealers in the field have everything they need to meet their customer’s needs.

Variable-speed, inverter-driven compressor

The improved Preferred Series ductless systems deliver enhanced performance with 100 percent heating capacity at five degrees Fahrenheit and heating operation down to -22 degrees Fahrenheit. The variable-speed, inverter-driven compressor ensures outstanding efficiency with performance up to 25 SEER and heating up to 12 HSPF. This efficiency has led to 15 of the systems earning the coveted ENERGY STAR rating from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

The new outdoor unit is designed for compatibility with the Preferred Series high wall, cassette, ducted and floor console indoor units and operates quietly, as low as 27 dB(A). This new Preferred Series single-zone ductless system option adds to Bryant’s existing lineup which spans 15 SEER to 30.5 SEER single-zone systems as well as high-efficiency multi-zone systems.
