Applied Comfort Products celebrated the production of its 150,000th packaged terminal air conditioner (PTAC) in June.

The milestone was reached last week when the EA product rolled off the production line at the company’s headquarters in Cambridge, Canada.

Applied Comfort has been trading for over 25 years and is a manufacturer of through-the-wall and zoned heating and cooling solutions for the commercial and industrial sectors.

Brett Richardson, President of Applied Comfort Products Carver Inc., said, "Delivering our 150,000th PTAC is a very proud moment for the whole team and is down to the hard work and support of all our colleagues, as well as our distribution partners."

The Applied Comfort product line is suitable for new construction and renovation projects

Brett Richardson adds, "Our product line is developed and manufactured from original OEM chassis specifications and is available in electric heating/cooling, heat pump, or hydronic format."

Brett Richardson continues, "A lot has changed in 25 years as you will see from the pictures and I’m pleased to say we still have some of the original team who produced the first unit working with us today."

He concludes, "Our product line has been extended and our products have become more energy efficient and technologically advanced and I’m sure we will see continued improvements in the future.
