Applied Comfort Products celebrated the production of its’ 150,000th packaged terminal air conditioner (PTAC) in June. The milestone was reached when the EA product rolled off the production line at the company’s headquarters in Cambridge, Canada.

Applied Comfort has been trading for over 25 years and is a manufacturer of through-the-wall and zoned heating and cooling solutions for the commercial and industrial sectors.

Brett Richardson, president of Applied Comfort Products Carver Inc., said “Delivering our 150,000th PTAC is a very proud moment for the whole team and is down to the hard work and support of all our colleagues as well as our distribution partners. Our product line is developed and manufactured from original OEM chassis specifications and is available in electric heating/cooling, heat pump, or hydronic formats”.

Brett added, “A lot has changed in 25 years as you will see from the pictures and I’m pleased to say we still have some of the original team who produced the first unit working with us today.” 

Our product line has been extended and our products have become more energy-efficient and technologically advanced and I’m sure we will see continued improvements in the future.  Our goal to offer our customer’s excellent service, outstanding quality, and energy-efficient products remains, and I know the whole team is driven to deliver further success in the future”.
