American Coolair Corp. introduces its mixed flow fan with a direct drive motor. The MXFD combines the high volume flow capabilities of an axial fan and the pressure capabilities of a centrifugal fan.

Designed to meet ducted fan needs both economically and efficiently, these fans operate reliably in most environments, including contaminated air. Combined with a VFD, variable frequency drive, the speed of the fan can be changed to match the performance required.

less maintenance, long life

The MXFD’s housing and motor supports are made of heavy gauge steel plate for maximum strength and durability. The mixed-flow wheel is heavy gauge welded steel.

Both the housing and wheel are coated with epoxy to provide a protective coating that is rated excellent for hardness, impact resistance, adhesion, and chemical resistance. Direct-driven models require less maintenance, offer longer operating life, and reduce operating costs. The fans are available in 18-43 inch models.
