Alpha Innovations’ laboratory in Louvain-la-Neuve is certified Customer Testing Facility (CTF) stage 2 by SGS. This allows the testing laboratory to be used as a satellite facility under the SGS network. The Customer Testing Facility (CTF) certification allows the company to use the testing laboratory to perform tests against relevant standards, with the official report and certificate issued by SGS, an inspection, verification, testing, and certification company.

To do this, the company has the necessary tools on their premises in Louvain-la-Neuve to measure and do the necessary tests. Since 2001, Alpha Innovations is certified Customer Testing Facility level 2 by SGS. This year again, the company succeeds the rigorous assessment process and received the renewal of the certification. It is a renewed proof that their labs and engineers are meeting the highest quality standards

Alpha Innovations’ certification

Alpha Innovations has the ability to do a part of the tests to get two certifications:

  • ISO 62368 – 1 (for telecom market)
  • ISO 60601 – 1 (for medical market)

Off-site testing can be inconvenient and time-consuming. Therefore, the main advantage is a reduced time to market for the equipment in these two markets as the certifications is partly made by Alpha Innovations.
